A 2-Day Workshop
The ability to produce e-mails and other written materials that are clear, vigorous and concise is critical for professional success in today's business world. This can be particularly challenging in multi-cultural environments where English may not be every employee's native language. The purpose of this workshop is to enable participants to produce more effective written communications in English. Participants learn a process for getting thoughts out of their heads and documented in an organized fashion. In addition, participants learn to write in the form that is required by business and to correct the common mechanical errors that occur in written communications.
In this two-day workshop participants will have the opportunity to:
Effective Business Writing: Process, Form, and Mechanics is delivered in two days with up to 20 participants. Group discussions, team exercises, and individual writing experiences are built into the course to maximize learning without embarrassment. Participants produce one major (approx. 3 pages) and two minor (1 - 2 pages) pieces of original writing during the course. All participants receive individual instructor feedback on their writing.
